She got scared and Ray gives her water to drink while teasing her that it like as if she has seen a monster. Emma warns everyone not to get separated and they must stay in a group as they move on. Emma reveals that pursuers from the farm might come. Rays tell Emma that he will keep watch she should rest and Emma thanks Ray.
The Promise:
Before she went to rest Ray apologizes saying that if he had cooperated from the beginning she wouldn’t have hurt her hand or lost an ear. Emma replies that she is happy that everyone is alive and smiling. Later Ray looks at the children and promises Emma that he will live and protect this family just like her. He swears that no matter what he will never abandon the children again. Ray asks Emma not to bear this burden alone. He asks what are their next plan and Emma reveals that they will go to look for the water in a nearby river. Emma wants to see if the water is drinkable. Ray agrees and said that they will be also looking for food and the enemy think that they will be doing that. Don joins them asking if there is somewhere they can go. Emma reveals that they will head Southeast and Don didn’t understand what she meant.
William Minerva:
Gilda explained that they are heading between South and East and Emma gave Ray something that Norman left them with. Gilda asks if it is William Minerva and Emma agrees saying that Mr. Minerva will guide them. Ray opens it and a hologram of numbers appears. Emma is happy that Norman left them with William Minerva’s pen that is guiding them. The children started to say that they are missing Norman. Emma tries to console them and helped them to snap out of it since it will delay their plans. The children continue with their journey searching for the location that was revealed by William Minerva. They find out that it is called sea anemones that store fresh water. Ray cuts them and pours the water inside the bottles he comments that if the book is right it means that the water is drinkable.
Hooded Demons:
Ray said that it means that they don’t have to trouble themself by going to the river. Everyone is happy that they are getting everything with ease inside the forest. Emma realizes that the book they are carrying is a guidebook to surviving the outside world. Ray reminds Emma that the code is a promise. Emma realizes that the book is a promise that connects them with Mr. Minerva. Don adds that Mr. Minerva is protecting g everyone and Emma comments that the outside world is full of danger but they are not alone. Later they met with a hooded man and a hooded girl. Ray said that if those two were the enemies they would have tied them and not taken care of them. Emma thinks that maybe it might be Mr. Minerva’s doings. Ray thinks that maybe Mr. Minerva has sent his group to help them and the two followed a hooded girl. Ray asked about the hooded man and that girl said that the hooded man is Sonju. Emma asks the girl about William Minerva and she replies that she doesn’t know him. Ray asks why are demons saving the humans and Emma saw the legs of that girl. Emma noticed that her legs are of a demon and the girl turns back. Emma and Ray got surrounded by the hooded man and that girl. Ray said that those two are the demons.
