This show has two main characters that are there in the show from the very first season. They are John Nettles as Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Tom Barnaby. And Neil Dudgeon, who took over this role after his retirement. Plot

Currently, neither ITV nor Acron has any idea of the release date of season 22, but Midsomer Murders Season 22 is speculated to release somewhere around the fall of 2021. Initially, it was expected to arrive in Dec 2020, but due to the pandemic, the production had to be postponed to a later date.
